The National Veterans Network and the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center invite K-12 educators to join a virtual workshop on Japanese American resettlement after incarceration, a lesser-known story in American history. Co-presenters from the Yuri Education Project will provide historical background on resettlement, and present a selection of primary sources and facilitate primary source analysis teachers can use in their classrooms. The workshop is designed for middle and high school educators, with attention to scaffolding materials for younger readers.
