TECHGirls is a US-based summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire young women (ages 15-17) from the United States and around the world to pursue higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. This fully-funded program, supported by the US Department of State and administered by Legacy International, will take place at Virginia Tech in beautiful Blacksburg, VA, where this diverse global group of students will engage in hands-on STEM courses, leadership training, and have the chance to visit labs to learn about groundbreaking research and careers. The group will also travel to Washington, DC and other US communities. Applicants from the United States must be US citizens.
