World Learning’s Experiment Leadership Institute is a highly competitive, fully funded program for high school students with demonstrated interest in intercultural leadership, global issues, and civic engagement. The Summer 2020 Leadership institute, India: Community Development and Public Health, is open to rising seniors who are 16-18 years of age at the time of the program. The program consists of a 4-day leadership seminar in DC, four weeks in India, concluding with 4 days of project planning sessions in Brattleboro, Vermont at the School for International Training (SIT) campus. A follow-up student project is required. In India, in addition to cultural exposure, the program will focus on leadership development, with in-depth discussions on public health, human rights, and social change. Fifteen (15) full scholarships are available.
