The Experiment Digital Youth Leadership & Community Service is a fully-funded six-week virtual exchange program for high school students from the United States and their peers in Iraq, Algeria, Yemen, and other countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This program is designed to prepare participants to be more civically engaged and to lead change. Participants interact through videos, discussion forums, online chats, webinars, and games. Through these activities, participants develop leadership and cross-cultural communication skills, speak with peers from different countries, and design youth-led projects to create positive social change. The program is open to 14-19 year old high school students, who have basic English competency and have regular access to the internet. Students will need to devote 4 hours per week to the program, and can participate from anywhere. The Experiment Digital is funded by the US Department of State and administered by World Learning.
