Boost your 21st century skills, work across cultures, and work to address climate change through this innovative 7-week summer virtual exchange program, fully funded by the US State Department. The program will select 128 high school students from across the US to work with 128 Iraqi students, guided by university students from both countries. Students will form teams to work on meaningful projects related to climate change and its effects on human health. The program will require 4-6 contact hours per week, plus an orientation on June 24. Students will receive a $20 honorarium and Certificate of Global Citizenship Leadership for completion. All high school rising juniors and seniors, as well as graduating seniors, are eligible to apply.
