The US Department of Education invites DC-area teachers, principals, social studies and language coordinators, district staff, and state education administrators to this special educator workshop for International Education Week 2017. The program is designed to help educators learn about how to help students develop the global and cultural competencies critical for success in the 21st century. K-12 outreach experts from federally funded National and Language Resource Centers at Howard, George Washington, and Georgetown Universities will share valuable information and free resources for teaching international topics and foreign languages.
