The World Smarts STEM Workshop for Educators is designed to bring together distinguished educators interested in implementing a virtual exchange focused on STEM learning and global competence. Approximately 30 educators from the DC metro area will be selected to participate in this in-person conference at The Madison Hotel in downtown Washington. Applicants must be current K-12 educators, or implementers of STEM and/or virtual exchange initiatives at a local nonprofit organization, with experience and/or strong interest in incorporating STEM, global perspectives, and cultural awareness among students through virtual exchanges. A transportation stipend, certificate of completion, and lunch will be provided.
